Khadi
The Khadi is a fabric whose yarn is spun on spinning wheels and the woven by hand on wooden looms. It can be in cotton, wool or silk. For the Indians, the khadi has a particularly sentimental value. It is associated with the Mahatma Gandhi who made it the symbol of the independence. This traditional fabric has a handmade appearance which is what makes it noble and beautiful.
