BLOUSE JAMDANI MADRAS

A wide blouse in cotton, like a painter’s shirt.
This particular fabric is named Jamdani.
It is hand woven in West Bengal, in a small village near Kolkata.
The checks are obtained by weaving the fabric on a wooden loom.
It is a very long and traditional technique.
The blouse is half buttoned at front side.
The fitting is large and loose. Long sleeves.
Measurements : 76 cm for chest, 65 cm length at center back.
The buttons are in shell.

The color is a combination of Indigo blue, light blue and soft brown.
