This very traditional hand embroidery technique is called the Chikankari.
Round collar neck, long sleeves, shell buttons.
Pin tuck pleats at the front side.
The shirt is embroidered along the front placket, along the armholes and at the back of the shirt.
Our Khadi comes from west Bengal. As it is a very traditional weaving, it might get some irregularities. This is the beauty and the charm of the khadi.
